Henig Furs is the Southeast's leader in outerwear sales for furs, leathers, cashmere, wool blends, denim trims and other fine garments for children, juniors, ladies and men. Our mission is to operate customer-driven, professional leather and fur stores, salons and outlets in select markets. The Henig Story

Whether your tastes are traditional or contemporary, Henig Furs and Leathers has a style for you. We've been producing fine quality furs and leathers for four generations. As the largest furrier in the Southeast, and one of the largest in the United States, we offer a wide selection of furs; from fashionable mink, beaver and fox to the very finest Canadian and Russian lynx, chinchilla and Russian sable.

Henig Furs is a fourth generation family owned business. Mike Henig follows his father, John Henig, as CEO and President of the company. Fur manufacturing is a Henig tradition that began with his great-grandfather in Europe and continued when Mike's grandfather immigrated to New York City. This tradition continued through the third generation with John Henig.

John Henig brought the trade to the Southeast over 50 years ago.

In 1977, Mike joined his father as a partner and they expanded the business through wholesale manufacturing and retail stores. Now, Henig Furs has over twenty retail stores throughout the Southeast, including salons in Belk Department Stores in Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, and Virginia. We also offer corporate incentive programs throughout the country through our headquarters.

The company still operates on the founding principles of quality, selection, and customer service.
